Glass Sky

An angry young boy who's rage incubated for 15 years
Forced to smile, to laugh and, in turn, forced his sanity to shatter
His joy doesn't matter
His pain buried under empty chatter
His patience is fading
He stays silent, still waiting to leave
You can't begin to believe his power.
You think you know power? The power of love?
Anger is true power. Anger induces fear, in turn reveals cowards.
With every word spoken, his rage creeps closer. Yet he still waits
Until one day
Rage is free
He screams
15 years of pain turned so others can feel the same
The world falls silent apart from his scream flooding into both reality and dreams
People wait in fear for this apocalypse to pass
Everything around him turns fragile
The sky turns to glass
It breaks into a thousand knives, falling on those who ruined his life
He tastes regret, remorse overflowing in their blood
The flood of knives impale the floor
The floor mirrors the sky
As his scream comes to an end the world reverses to as it once was
Except the people are gone
His anger reshaped the world
Now it's his. Now he's free
